Award of Distinction Given to Thomas Nelson’s KJV400 Marketing Campaign
The Bible division at Thomas Nelson, Inc. announced that it was a receiver of a 2012 Communicator Award for its 2011 KJV400 marketing campaign. The Bible division celebrated the 400th anniversary of the King James Version with a year-long campaign in 2011 for the world’s most popular Bible translation.
The KJ400 marketing campaign was recognized in the Integrated Communication Campaign category for an award of distinction. According to the International Academy of Visual Arts, thousands of entries were submitted from the U.S. and around the world to receive an award that honors “the creative excellence for communication professionals.”
“The Bible marketing team is honored to win such a prestigious award for the KJV400 anniversary campaign,” said Blake Aldridge, senior director of marketing for Thomas Nelson’s Bible division. “The team worked countless hours in planning and executing this campaign all with the common goal of sharing the importance and impact the King James Bible has had in people’s lives everywhere.” This is the second award that Thomas Nelson’s Bible division has received for this marketing campaign. In 2011, the KJV400 campaign was also awarded with a platinum MarCom award.
Earlier this month, Thomas Nelson was awarded with two Christian Best Seller Awards at the 2012 ECPA Annual Awards banquet. The Company received Christian Book of the Year for “Nearing Home” by Dr. Billy Graham and Christian Bestseller in the non-fiction category for “Close Enough to Hear God Breathe,” by Greg Paul.
